The shelter-in-place situation is hard. The silence in the streets is deafening, and eerie. Seeing other neighbors out walking their dogs or getting some exercise lifts my spirits, especially as we wave and say, “hello!” But it’s odd. It’s stressful. Everyone is starving for connection.

In light of the COVID-19 challenge, our Special Needs Parent Support & Education Group is going ONLINE – and I’m happy to say, we will now be meeting WEEKLY – YAY!

There is NO CHARGE to attend this group, and all parents of children (any age) with special needs, some kind of developmental delay, or disability are welcome to attend! Grab a snack, your drink of choice, fuzzy slippers or sweats, and of course bring your concerns and your huge hearts. (PARENTS ONLY PLEASE)

We can all use community and connection right now and I want you to leave knowing you are not alone!
Simply click on the link below to join the conversation. Please share this with anyone you think might benefit.

Time: Thursday evenings 7:30 – 8:30 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada)

New to Zoom and this whole virtual world? Don’t worry, I’m not! I’ve been doing teletherapy and virtual coaching for years so I can help you! If you need assistance, please plan to join me 15 minutes early to ensure your video camera and microphone are working correctly before we start promptly at 7:30! Better yet, watch a YouTube video before you come so your device is all set up and ready to go! It’s best on a computer, but cell phones work too.

(A Note to Service Providers & Professionals: This group is intended to be a support and educational group for PARENTS and FAMILY MEMBERS only – not to sell services. As such I ask that you please respect our members and refrain from attending these meetings unless you are asked to participate as a guest speaker with an approved, desired topic. Please contact me directly if you wish to discuss the possibility of being a speaker or sponsor. All parents of children with special needs, some kind of delay, or parents that are worried about their children are welcome to attend!)

Kindly reach out to me if you have any questions.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
